They have been up for about a year and are working well. Now when wild weather is around we just 'shut the shields' and wait for the storm to pass (the biggest wind gust they have endured so far is 120 km/hr). The biggest selling point for us was their ability to cover a wide opening with multiple shutters and removable mullions. It only takes about a minute to go from 'wide open' to completely shut. Initially, we planned to only use the shutters during storms, but now we use them all the time for summer and winter insulation, and to create a cinema effect in the living area. Post-sales service has also been excellent, with Damien helping to customize the remote control and even replacing it when it stopped working.
